6. Compare financial aid packages and make a decision

After you’ve applied to college and completed the FAFSA, you will receive a financial aid package from each school you’ve applied to. If you’ve applied to several schools, you will need to compare the financial aid packages and decide which offer is the best for you, taking into account not only the aid but also how well you think the school fits you.
